This course is a 4 week FOLLOW-ON from the previous weeks seminar covering “What is Somatic Movement. This practical course will cover the 8 movement sequences, “exercises” that are practiced as you to explore the reflexes addressed in Clinical Somatics.
You will Learn:
- How trauma, repetitive movement patterns, reflexes and responses to life’s stressors distract us from our bodies and contribute to chronic muscular pain and tension
- The root cause of most chronic pain and muscular tension and how to release it and lengthen muscles without stretching
- How to relieve yourself of low back pain, neck, shoulder, hip and joint pain, anxiety, headaches, and restricted movement with simple Somatic Movement.
- Gain an understand of how our thoughts and emotions can cause physical stresses which lead to pain and limited mobility or can create fluid movement and freedom from pain.
- You will learn 8 Gentle movements (exercises) that will repattern movement habits and retrain muscle function.
- Experience how a basic routine of these simple, safe, and effective Somatic Movements when practiced daily are an efficient way to eliminate chronic muscle pain, restore muscular function and keep you living an active and pain free lifestyle.
